ALL STUDENTS
To encourage students to think analytically and correlate economic concepts with real life issues. Each group of students will be allotted a unique case study on managerial economics. Each student is mandatorily required to submit a short written report on the case. This will be followed by a group presentation on the case involving mandatory participation by all students. Class to be divided into groups of 3-5 students each and each group allotted a unique case study. Break up of marks for assignment is as follows: Written report (submitted individually by each student before the presentation)-10 marks. Group presentation comprising 20 marks divided into:

Introduction to presentation and overview-5 marks
Understanding of concepts and correlation with real life issues-5 marks. Question handling-5marks
Conclusion and recommendations-5 marks.
Thus total evaluation is out of 30 marks.
This Academic task has focus on the following:
1) Helping students correlate concepts of economics with real life situations. 2) Enabling students to work as a team and make group presentations on a specific case. 3) Enabling them to write short, concise reports capturing the essentials of a case study.

Evaluation criteria

Individual Assessment for written report- 10 marks
Group assessment for presentation-20 marks.
Split up of marks for group presentation:
